Make Time & Drying Process:
Each piece is one of a kind made from pressed flowers. Flower preservation is an extensive process with many steps that must be done in a time frame that is subjective to the specific flower’s attributes. For shot glasses, we use a mixture of whole preserved flowers and pressed flowers.
Our make time begins from the moment we receive your flowers in the mail and on average take 3 to 5 months to be completed and return shipped to you. Please keep in mind that all flowers have their own unique dry times and personalities in resin.
Bubbles & Color Change:
Please be aware we cannot control bubbles or imperfections that appear in the resin after the preservation is completed. We do our absolute best to mitigate any defects that may occur but, we gently remind you that each piece is a handcrafted work of art. Variations in resin and look may differ from one piece to the next. Flowers will change color in the preservation process. This is a very natural occurrence as the flower’s quality and texture will change in the drying process. Flowers become more brittle and the hue tends to fade. For example, orange flowers may turn yellow or white flowers can become off white or yellowed. White calla lilies and lisianthus flowers will turn yellow. Some flowers like hydrangea, orchids and roses will show translucent spots once placed in resin.
