Save the Date Reservations are optional, but highly recommended for weddings and time-sensitive events.
Our Save the Date Reservation lets you secure your spot with a $50 deposit (applied to your final order). Here's how it works:
Simply select your wedding date on our calendar and pay the deposit. You'll receive a coupon code and instructions by email, and we'll remind you to submit your final order two weeks before your event.
The Save the Date option is perfect for couples who want to plan ahead, reserve their date, or finalize details later. It's also great if you're undecided on which keepsakes you want, or if you want to prepare shipping materials in advance.
Destination Weddings & Flower Press Kits
We offer convenient solutions for destination weddings and travel events:
- Travel Flower Press Kit: Our compact flower press kit allows you to safely press select blooms on-site, preserving their beauty until you return home. This is ideal for couples who want to capture memories from a destination wedding, elopement, or travel celebration.
- How it works: Order your flower press kit in advance, bring it with you, and use it to press a few favorite flowers right after your event. Instructions are included, and we’re happy to provide support by phone or video call.
- Shipping pressed flowers: Once you return, ship your pressed flowers to our studio inside the travel flower press via overnight mail. Pressed flowers travel well and can be transformed into stunning wall art, frames, jewelry, and more.
- Bouquet replacement: If you can’t bring your bouquet home or don’t want the responsibility of pressing flowers abroad, contact us for local sourcing similar flowers to make your order possible.
Contact us and send a photo! Your flowers may still be usable for certain items.
Air-dried or even frozen bouquets can often be preserved in our thicker keepsakes, such as resin blocks, bookends, or ring holders. However, air-dried flowers are not ideal for flat items like trays, coasters, wall art, or drinkware due to changes in color and texture.
Our expert artisans have preserved over 20,000 bouquets and can often transform air-dried blooms into beautiful, repurposed artwork. Please note that air-dried flowers may show darker centers or some spotting in the resin, but our team will always do their best to create a stunning final piece.
If your wedding or event falls on a weekend, taking proper care of your flowers before shipping on Monday or Tuesday after is key to successful preservation. Here’s what we recommend:
- Keep flowers in water: Place your bouquet in a clean vase with fresh water as soon as possible.
- Store in a cool room or refrigerator: For storage up to 2–3 days, a cool room away from sunlight and heat is great. For longer storage (more than a weekend), the refrigerator can extend your bouquet’s lifespan, just be sure to remove all fruits, vegetables, and any rotting foods first. Many fruits and veggies release ethylene gas, which can cause flowers to wilt or brown prematurely.
- Change water daily: Refresh the water each day and trim stems at an angle to keep flowers hydrated.
- Handle gently: Don’t pull apart the bouquet or remove any wrapping until you’re ready to pack for shipping.
- Avoid floral foam: If possible, remove floral foam as it can harbor bacteria.
When you’re ready to ship, follow our detailed packing instructions and use overnight or express shipping for best results.
Shipping & Delivery
We’re happy to share our full flower shipping instructions and packing video so you can prepare in advance! Please note: Our shipping address is only provided after an order is placed, and all flower shipments must include your order number on or inside the package. Flowers received without an order will be set aside until an order is placed.
- Order first: Place your order online and check your email for the shipping address and instructions.
- Prepare your bouquet: Use a small (shoebox size)-to-medium sturdy box (around 14x14x10 inches), dry paper towels, clear packing tape, scissors, and a pen or marker. Most orders only require a portion of your bouquet.
- Packaging: Cut flowers from the stems (discard excess weight). Wrap each bloom in a dry paper towel and fill the box snugly, no water, wet napkins, or plastic bags (these cause mold). Do not use floral foam unless instructed.
- Labeling: Clearly write your order name, order number, and contact phone number on or inside the package. This ensures your flowers are processed promptly.
- Shipping: Ship your flowers the Monday after your event (avoid weekends/holidays). Use overnight or express shipping (UPS, FedEx, or USPS Express). For ultimate convenience, you can purchase a prepaid FedEx Priority Overnight label for $130 (covers boxes up to 20x20x10, saves up to 60% off regular rates): https://bit.ly/2025ShippingLabel

Yes! We offer convenient bouquet pickup across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and the northern Florida Keys in our Wild Coast “Flower Car.”Schedule this service for same-night or weekend pickup, typically, we collect bouquets from your venue around 9PM, after all photos have been taken.
Our pickup service includes preservation within 24 hours to guarantee peak freshness for your final product. If you need this service within the same week, please call us so we can reserve a driver.
To schedule or learn more, contact us at info@wildcoastflowerpreservation.com or call (954) 296-5937.
Currently, we serve all 50 U.S. states for flower preservation and bouquet keepsakes. For international inquiries, please contact us to discuss your options as a Travel Flower Press may be best.
We do accept bouquets shipped from outside the United States, but we do not recommend this method due to high shipping costs and the risk of customs delays. Flowers should ideally be in transit for no more than 1–2 days to ensure the best preservation results. International shipping can take longer, increasing the risk of wilted or damaged flowers upon arrival.
While we have successfully received international bouquets in good condition, others have arrived with significant damage. In these cases, we offer bouquet replacement services or color correction to help salvage your memories. If you are planning a destination wedding or need to ship flowers internationally, please reach out to us before placing your order so we can provide personalized guidance and discuss alternative solutions, such as our Travel Flower Press Kit or working with local florists for replica bouquets.
We’ll help file a claim and offer bouquet replication or a partial refund based on the situation.
Process & Timeline
Our typical turnaround time is about 4–5 months from the day your bouquet arrives at our Pompano Beach, FL studio to shipment of your completed keepsake. You’ll receive photo updates at key stages, plus design previews for your approval or revision, so you can follow your flowers’ transformation every step of the way. Rush options may be available; contact us for details.
Here’s what you can expect at each stage (timelines may vary based on order volume and design complexity):
- Preservation & Drying (8–13 weeks): Your flowers are carefully assessed and begin drying immediately. Once fully dried, they join the queue for the design process. The time from arrival to your design preview is typically 8–13 weeks.
- Design Stage (2–3 weeks): You’ll receive personalized design photos for your approval. This is the best time to request color correction, flower swaps, or add-ons. We offer up to 2 complimentary revisions. (Pro tip: Send us a photo of your fresh bouquet to inspire the design!) Please reply within 2 weeks to keep your timeline on track. If we don’t hear back, we’ll attempt to reach you, but delays may occur.
- Resin Process (4–8 weeks): Once your design is approved, your flowers are carefully cast in resin, a process that includes multiple layers, curing, and quality checks. We use industry-leading techniques to minimize bubbles and imperfections.
- Finishing Touches & Photos (3–4 weeks): After demolding, each piece is sanded, buffed, and finished for a crystal-clear result. You’ll receive final reveal photos before your order ships or is ready for pickup.
- Shipping: Return shipping is arranged and tracking is provided so you can anticipate your preserved flowers’ arrival.
Timeline Note: Individual stages may move faster or slower depending on order volume and complexity, but the overall timeline from arrival to shipment is currently around 5 months. We’re committed to quality over speed, each keepsake is crafted with meticulous care.
Communication: We’ll keep you updated throughout the process. Please provide your phone number so we can reach you quickly if there are any questions or if we have difficulty connecting via Etsy or email.
Your flowers will undergo an extensive drying process, which naturally causes some changes, and in certain cases, a loss of color. This is a normal part of preserving real flowers: quality and texture shift as moisture is removed, making blooms more brittle and causing hues to fade. For example, orange flowers may turn yellow, and white flowers (like calla lilies and lisianthus) can become off-white or yellowed.
Some flower types, such as hydrangea, peonies, orchids, lilies, anthurium, and roses, may develop translucent spots once placed in resin. These changes are due to the natural structure of the petals and the preservation process. We are always at nature’s mercy, but our artisans do their best to bring your bouquet back to life visually through thoughtful, artistic re-arrangement of the dried flowers.
To address these changes, we offer two specialized services:
Color Correction: Enhances vibrancy and restores lost color wherever possible.
Bouquet Replication: Replaces damaged or unusable flowers with fresh blooms for a seamless look.
Resin itself is known to amber over time, but we use a high UV-resistant formula that stays clear for many years. Many of our customers return years later for new preservation pieces, proof that quality and longevity are at the heart of our process.
If you have questions about how your specific flowers may change, or want to discuss color correction or replication, just ask! We’re here to help you set expectations and create a keepsake you’ll love for years to come.
Customization & Approvals
Absolutely! We offer a wide range of customizations to make your flower preservation piece uniquely yours. While shopping for our items, you’ll notice many are customizable for an additional fee, customizations may affect the final price.
You can personalize your keepsake with:
- Inlaid text (such as names, dates, or special messages)
- Small items like charms, jewelry, notes, or religious tokens
- Photos, invitations, or printed materials
- Live-edge wood accents
- Laser engraving for added detail and personalization
- Hand-painted edges or backgrounds
If you have a special idea or want to include something unique, just let us know! We’re happy to discuss what’s possible for your specific design and provide a custom quote. Customizations are a beautiful way to add meaning and individuality to your wedding bouquet preservation, memorial keepsake, or special occasion piece.
Have questions about what can be included? Contact us before ordering and we’ll help you create a one-of-a-kind keepsake you’ll treasure forever.
Yes! You’ll receive an initial design photo for each item before final casting in resin, and you may request up to 2 complimentary revisions, though we usually nail it on the first try!
- Template-based items (trays, coasters, wall decor, blocks): You’ll see an exact preview since these are designed on marked templates.
- Free-form pieces (shot glasses, resin cups, vases, votive spheres, ring holders, wine stoppers): We’ll share a photo of the arranged petals, and our artisans will use their expertise to create a beautiful, artistic layout.
Revisions are limited to protect your delicate, dried flowers, which become very brittle after drying. If you have concerns about flower appearance or color, we can discuss:
- Flower Replacement: Substitute blooms that didn’t preserve as expected.
- Color Correction: Enhance or adjust flower colors for the best look.
Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’ll work closely with you to create a keepsake you’ll love. However, if you are NOT satisfied with your design, please do NOT approve it. Once your item is cast in resin, the preservation process is permanent, and further changes cannot be made.
We recommend placing your full order up front so we can save the appropriate amount of flowers for every item you want, both whole flower and pressed flower pieces. We only preserve enough blooms for the items in your order (plus a few extras for swaps or minor changes) we do not save the entire bouquet.
If you request additional items later, we may be able to accommodate you if there are leftover flowers. At the design stage, if extra blooms are available, we’ll show you a photo and offer add-on options.
Please note: leftover flowers are not returned by mail. We keep them until your order is complete, then store them for 1 month before discarding. This allows flexibility for remakes or add-ons if needed, but placing your full order at the start ensures the best results.
Care & Longevity
Preserved flowers are delicate, and while our UV-resistant, food-safe resin provides a powerful shield, a little attention goes a long way in keeping your keepsake beautiful for years. It’s natural for both resin and flowers to gradually change over time; resin may slowly develop a slightambertint, and flowers can fade or shift in color. These care tips will help you enjoy your art as long as possible:
Keep Out of Direct Sunlight:
Even high-quality resin can develop a yellow tint with prolonged sun exposure. Display your piece in a shaded spot away from windows, especially in sunny climates, to maintain resin clarity and flower vibrancy.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures:
Don’t place your keepsake in hot areas like cars, attics, or rooms without AC. Extreme heat can speed up color changes and make flowers more brittle. Air conditioning is ideal for long-term preservation.
Handle With Care:
Resin is durable but can scratch. Treat your piece like fine art: avoid sliding, dropping, or stacking heavy objects on it. Use both hands to move larger items.
Gentle Cleaning Only:
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Light use of household glass cleaner is safe for disinfecting, but never submerge in water or use a dishwasher. Dry handles and surfaces thoroughly.
Store Thoughtfully:
When not on display, wrap each piece individually to prevent scratches and store in a cool room, never in hot storage.
We understand that accidents happen, resin art is durable, but not unbreakable. If your preserved flower piece is damaged after delivery (for example, from drops, chips, scratches, or cracks), please contact us right away. In most cases, we can repair or remake your keepsake for a fee.
Our expert team will assess the damage and let you know your options, whether it’s a repair, partial remake, or full replacement. We’ll walk you through the process, provide an estimate, and help you safely ship your piece back to our studio if needed.
Please note: Repairs are offered for both recent and older Wild Coast pieces. The sooner you reach out, the better we can help restore your cherished keepsake!
All resin items may have some degree of bubble formation due to the natural curing process. We use professional techniques, balancing humidity, careful temperature control, and heat tools, to minimize bubbles as much as possible. However, some bubbles are inherent to resin art and do not qualify for refunds.
Micro bubbles are especially common with air-dried flowers and red roses. This is because:
Trapped air: Dried flowers and rose petals have tiny air pockets and channels that can release air into the resin.
Petal structure & color: The layered, dense structure of roses makes it harder for all air to escape, and the dark color of red roses makes micro bubbles more visible (whereas on lighter flowers, they may not be noticeable).
These natural factors make it nearly impossible to achieve a 100% bubble-free result, even with the most careful preparation and professional methods. Each preserved piece is unique, and a few bubbles are part of the handmade charm of resin art.
