Where preservation fits in your planning timeline

Think of flower preservation the way you think about your photographer or florist: the further out you book, the calmer the whole experience is. Waiting until after the wedding puts you in the position of making decisions while exhausted, traveling, or deep in post-wedding catch-up.

• 6 to 12 months out: You are booking your venue, photographer, and florist. Add preservation to that list now. You do not need every detail figured out yet, but getting it on the calendar means it does not get lost.
• 3 to 6 months out: You are finalizing florals and the overall vision for the day. This is the best time to place your Save The Date Reservation. Knowing your preservation studio is confirmed gives the whole plan a connected feeling.
• Before the wedding: Place your order. Your bouquet has a guaranteed spot at the studio but we need your final order before you mail the bouquet.

How far ahead should I reserve?

As early as you can. Brides who reserve 6 to 12 months out have the most flexibility on timing and design. Closer to the wedding is still fine, but if you are within a few weeks, reach out sooner to confirm availability.

What if my wedding date changes?

Let us know and we will move your reservation. Date changes happen, and the update is straightforward. What matters is that you are in the system and we know to expect you.

What if I have not decided on a piece yet?

Can I add to my order after I reserve?

Yes. Reserving is the starting point, not the ceiling.

What is the shipping window?

Flowers should arrive within 5 days of the event, but avoid mailing over the weekend.  Most ship on the Monday after the event weekend.
